Paul Aitken
Paul started his musical career in the school orchestra, where
he also played with his brother in the
Quaker Shakers! - a life changing
experience that he blames for everything that's happened since!
Later bands included Gray's
Elegies, Feet
and Diet of Worms.
After a period of session work he joined the folk/rock band
Ram.
When they broke up Precious
Little were formed. After more
session
work and some time working with John Illsley from Dire Straits,
The
Banned started after a recording session at
Riverside Recordings. They released two singles, including the
Top 40 hit 'Little Girl', and then Paul left after the usual
management cock-ups and formed The
Specimins. During the 80's he did some
recording for the BBC
and then came The Retros.... |
